Mark your calendars for Myrtle Beach’s “Mardi Paws” celebration Saturday, March 8, at Grand Park. The event will have vendors, food available for purchase, raffle prizes, kids’ games and more from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This carnival-themed celebration welcomes friendly, leashed dogs (though please be sure to pick up their droppings!). Get your pet costumes ready, too, for the doggy costume contest. Judging begins at 11:00 a.m. All proceeds go to the Grand Strand Humane Society
